This indenture made the first day of June in the year of one thousand eight hundred and forty seven between Francis Cosslett and John Cosslett both of Newport in the county of Monmouth, contractors, of the one part and the South Wales Railway Company established and incorporated by the South Wales Railway Act 1845 of the other part signed by Francis Cosslett and John Cosslett. Sealed with wax.
