079 - Cornwall Railway - Timber Viaducts

Three drawings on one sheet of timber pier platform including iron work.

Drawing is of the plan of the line passing through Weston Mill Creek and Keyham Creek. The Lords Commissioners of the admiralty hereby as sent (in so far as this Lordships jurisdiction is concerned) to the application of the Cornwall Railway Company for permission, under the provisions of their acts of 1846 and 1847 to construct a viaduct across Weston Mill Creek, as shown by the plans and sections on two separate drawings hereon inscribed. Signed by the admiralty April 18th 1854.

Two sets of drawings on one sheet. First set is of Keyham Creek Viaduct and there are two drawings. First drawing is of longitudinal section, second drawing is of base of fan strut made of [Mernel] or Red Pine. Second set of drawings is of Keyham Creek Viaduct and is made up of two drawings of pillars.

Thirteen drawings on one sheet. Drawings of Fal Viaduct elevation, west and east abutments and piers.

Four drawings on one sheet of details of truss of a timber viaduct. First drawing is of a longitudinal section, second drawing is of transverse section at AB, third drawing is of transverse section at CD, fourth drawing is of transverse section at EF.

Two sets of drawing on one sheet. First set is of Ringwell Viaduct and also applies to Perran, Pascoe, Trelever, Pansanooth and College Wood Viaducts and there are three drawings in set. First drawing is of longitudinal section over Abutment Pier, second drawing is of longitudinal section, third drawing is of transverse section. Stamped '18 Duke Street / R. P. B / Westminster'. Second set is of Pascoe Viaduct and there are three drawings in set. First drawing is of an elevation, second drawing is of a transverse section, third drawing is of a plan.

First drawing is of an elevation of the viaduct, second drawing is of view at end pier, third drawing is of a different view at end of pier, fourth drawing is of a plan. Drawing is signed by Rob Thorpe & Sons. Exhibited July 1861, traced by Thorpe and sons. Copy to Mr. [Bletchley] October 22nd 1861.

The Lords Commissioned of the admiralty hereby assent (in so far as this Lordship's jurisdiction is concerned) to the application of the Cornwall Railway Company for permission to construct viaducts over the following navigations: - Coombe Lake, Wivelscombe Lake, Grove Lake, River Nottar, River Lynher on St. Germans, and Forden Lake, as shown by the plans and sections on seven drawings, numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7, [ ] and herewith attached.
