27 drawings from the Great Western Railway Contract No.3B between the said railway company and Messrs McIntosh showing tunnels, bridges, embankments, cuttings and culverts. Designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel.The particulars of this contract was to build a line between Keynsham and Newton St Loe, Somerset. Many of the drawings are stamped with 'McIntosh V Great Western Railway' this refers to the 19 year legal battle between the contractor and the railway company for breach of contract.
