Tender copy for contract between Mr. William Smith Simpson and the Great Western Railway for Simpson (Croydon) to offer to complete akk the Earthwork Bridges Culverts and other works included in contract No. 3S. Contract includes information for the schedule of the works to take place and a description of the works to take place. The contract is dated on 17th June 1839 and it was signed, sealed and delivered by Simpson in the presence of (illegible signature and [H Brook]) two clerks.
