First drawing is of embankment for cross section No. 1 and second drawing is of cutting at cross section No. 2. This is one of the drawings referred to in the annexed contract between the Great Western Railway Company and Mr. William Smith Simpson bearing the date of seventeenth day of June 1839. Drawing is signed by Brunel and William Smith Simpson.
