Indenture for the contract for making the Brent Viaduct and for works connected therewith between the Great Western Railway Company and Messrs Thomas Grissell and Samuel Morton Peto. Contract also includes work for the diverting of the river and specifies how the work on the viaduct and other connected works are to be carried out. Contract includes schedule of prices. Contract signed, sealed and delivered by Thomas Grissell and Samuel Morton Peto in the presence of Thomas Westwood (clerk).

First drawing is of section at A with section at B, second drawing is of [two sections], third drawing is of a plan, fourth drawing is of springing course, fifth drawing is of caps for upper course and lower course. This drawing is referred to in the second page of the indenture to which this drawing is annexed as the drawing No. 3 and the same indenture is dated the 17th December 1835 and is made between the Great Western Railway Company on the one part and Thomas Grissell and Samuel Morton Peto of the other part.
