Second drawing is for testing the first tube, horizontal movement of the tube showing plans for both west and east observed 14 times between July 21st and July 31st including temperatures.

Second drawing is of plan of upper two feet side plates and plan of lower two feet side plates dated January 17th 1854 to [Mr. Leslie]. Third drawing is of end of links attached to side plates dated June 16th 1855.

First drawing is of a plan and a section of the chains for bridge being pulled by a Brig at low and high tides, scale four feet to an inch dated October 21st 1857. Second drawing is of soundings taken of the ground underneath the bridge continued from May 25th to June 9th 1855. Third drawing is of [centre pier]. Scale four feet to an inch, 24th June 1856.

Tracing sent to Wilcocks and Cousins 21st May. Unclear annotations. Drawing is signed by Robert Pearson Brereton, August 23rd 1856.

Two separate drawings on one sheet. First drawing is dated 02 June 1858, title unclear [proposed alternate two plates coloured red under the end of tubes] and drawing of inner and outer plates. Second drawing is of position of standard castings under ends of tube No. 1 and plan of platform with scale being eight feet to an inch.
