This is one of the drawings referred to in the annexed contract between the Great Western Railway Company and Mr. Edward Price bearing date the seventeenth day of June 1839. Copy tender for Contract No. 3C. Tender copy for contract between Mr. Edward Price and the Great Western Railway Company for Price to complete earthwork, bridges, masonry and brickwork from No. 1 Longley Burrell to River Avon (western bank). Contract includes information for the schedule of the works to take place and a description of the works to take place. The Contract is dated on 17th June 1839 and it was signed, sealed and delivered by Price in the precense of Henry Leager.
